Green gadgets; the convergence of nerds and hippies….where the environment and technology are joining forces. What’s a label for this emerging group? Hipnerds? Maybe I’m so far behind the times that a label already exists. I happen to fall within this group, being a nerd far longer than a hippy. My interest in ‘green’ and the environment has come about within the last couple of years.

This has been the main driver behind Greener Cleaners, Tucson residential and commercial cleaning service that utilizes only non-toxic, environmentally friendly products. You could literally drink the toilet cleaner if you desired.

I’m going to use this blog/forum to post my thoughts, reviews, gripes, complaints, and opinions on technology claiming to be Green. Are they truly Green? What does it mean to be Green? Or is it some marketing or sales weenie trying to capitalize on the emerging ‘green’ trend? Obviously, I won’t have all the answers to these questions.

So, what gadgets or technology am I going to rant about? The few that come to mind are Green IT, donating your computer to Climate Pridication home gadgets that monitor energy consumption, basically any technology or gadget claiming to be ‘Green’.
