Green Tip #11

Posted in: Green Tips

Line dry your sheets in warm months.  If you’ve got two trees in you back or side yard, you can string up a clothesline in minutes.

I line dry all of my cleaning rags, towels, sheets, and clothes.  One simple tip from me…..don’t forget the fabric softener!  We are fortunate enough to live in beautiful Tucson, whose climate allows us to line dry year round it seems.  However, in the summer months the clothes dry in about 10 seconds and if left out for too long they can over dry.  Which makes fabric softener a must have.  On the plus side if you forget to use fabric softener you can always use your towels as loofahs or kitchen scrubbers.
